Its early in the season and we’ll remodel the data once we get 6 matches into the season, but we hit 80% for the top 10 matches with a goal in every game, only East Thurrock vs Woking and Preston vs OPR being the matches that failed to produce.
Tonight we see a couple of Championship matches, with Middlesbrough playing Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest hosting West Brom.
The data we have run as usual takes into account each teams failure to score % and clean sheet % multiplied to create a value for home and away matches. This value is then run against their opposition for that matchday, with the value being an average over the course of the last 6 seasons.

It doesn’t take into account injuries or suspensions, but as a model, it has been fairly successful and this season as part of our commitment to transparency, you’ll find a tracker at the bottom of each matchday, along with a season table showing the stats of success. As always, please fire over any questions, contributions or just general hellos to the team via social media and we’ll always get back to you.
